Optional Secondary Phase of Service

For those accounts not collected in our program’s Primary Phase, NYSVMS members have access to TekCollect’s Secondary Contingent Recovery Division (SCRD).

SCRD includes the nation’s largest network of litigation services. Every remedy available, including asset searches, advanced skip tracing, and litigation at TekCollect’s expense, will be exercised. TekCollect handles all payments, negotiations and settlements. Decisive court action is brought in the debtor patient’s county. The lawsuit includes the total amount due with interest, filing fees, court costs and all charges allowed by law.

Submission of accounts is completely at your discretion. With your approval, the account is transferred to SCRD on a straight contingent fee basis. SCRD provides the most aggressive follow-through option in the industry to collect from the most unresponsive patient debtors.
